This workshop is the second in the series on Cloud Computing. It aims to help delegates explore and gain a better understanding of cloud computing and what opportunities this presents for their organisation.

Who should attend? This event will be of particular interest to members of the iNetwork Information Sharing and Security Community, Information Governance Managers, Information Security Managers, Data Protection Officers and Compliance Officers and colleagues from the wider iNetwork Community who are interested in cloud computing.

 

Our events provide a forum for local authorities, health organisations and other public sector organisation colleagues to come together to discuss information  sharing and /or security issues that impact on the public sector and to provide learning opportunities , encourage innovation and efficiency savings whilst delivering improved outcomes for citizens.

Polite Notices

Charging Policy: Delegates from organisations that hold a current 2011/12 subscription to iNetwork, are free to attend without charge. Typically these include the majority of the NW local authorities, NW health organisations, etc.

Delegates from non iNetwork subscribing organisations will be charged £295 per delegate, per event.  If you would like to know whether your organisation has a CURRENT subscription with iNetwork, please contact us at lucy.buckley@tameside.gov.uk  for more information.

Registrations: In the drive towards efficiency and the effective management of resources, catering arrangements will only be made for registered delegates. If you plan to attend, please register a minimum of 5 working days prior to this event [16 February 2012] in order that we may confirm numbers with the venue.

Cancellations: Please let us know in plenty of time if you have booked onto the event but cannot attend. No cancellation charges apply, however each no-show or last minute cancellations is costly, using funds that cannot be recouped. Please give at least 5 working days in advance - which is the minimum notification for most venues to arrange catering] or delegate substitution with a colleague is much appreciated.
